Project Specialfisken - Opening my own shop
Hello everyone.
This thread will follow project "Specialfisken" wich is opening my own shop. I will only sell wild caught fish, frozen foods and live foods. So it will be very specialiced, manly focusing on wild caught fish from SA. I will also make imports from asia, but SA will be the main objective for the shop.
Work have just started on the first tanks. All tanks in the shop will have their own HMF filter and automatic waterchange. The automatic waterchange is necessary as I simply dont have the time needed to change that much water each week as I also have my school to take care of.
The shop will have 36 tanks of 72 liters. 30 x 40 x 60 cm. 9 tanks in each section. The shop will also have 12 x 250 liters 100 x 50 x 50 cm and finally 6 tanks of 530 liters 160 cm x 55 x 60 cm.
I will update he thread as things progresses.
Here is a picture of what the setup looks like. These tanks are not fitted with overflow in this picture. Each level has its own T5 light. The actual setup will be deeper than shown, to make room for 3 x 72 liter tanks in each level.
I would also like to point out that I wont be shipping fish out of denmark. I simply dont have to time needed. So this topic is purely because I'd like to share the building process with you all

Re: Project Specialfisken - Opening my own shop
I am not much of a handyman, so its a friend of mine who is building the tanks. I will do some of the pipe work. But thats about it.
There wont be a salt water section as I am not into saltwater. But there might also be a plant section. But I am not sure yet. Depends on how much time I have.
